The Albatross X5 is an advanced model of H.M.V transport used by the Empire. It serves as a docking station for mechs and a shuttle between larger ships. The vessel has powerful thrusters and thick armor, though it certainly isn't outfitted for battle.
An Albatross ship was stolen from the docking bay of the Regal while it was docked in Vegas. Axel Erachin and his group of mercenaries hijacked the Albatross during the Empire's betrayal and, with the help of Karl Vladick and the Jotun, managed to escape from Vegas and join up with the Paladins on the Deity. Without the sturdy reliability of this vessel, Axel and his friends would have certainly met an unfortunate fate by now!
